Favourite Uncle

Hiei watched with a bored expression as the two idiots continued to argue on the Higurashi Shrine grounds. He sighed with a hint of annoyance, wondering exactly why he was still standing here though it did provide some amusement. Earlier that day Kagome and Kurama along with their daughter, Mika, had decided to visit Kagome's family at the shrine. Yusuke and Hiei had tagged along, mostly out of boredom and Yusuke really liked Mrs. Higurashi's cooking. That was when Inuyasha had decided to show up and things got more...interesting. The apparition was just glad Kuwabara wasn't there, it would've just been down right annoying then.

"Don't you know," Yusuke began as he raised his fist to Inuyasha, "that I'm Mika-chan's favourite uncle?!"

"Keh! You wish!" Inuyasha replied, pulling out his sword, "More like I'm her favourite uncle!"

Yusuke watched as Inuyasha took a fighting stance, ooooh... things were starting to get serious! He also took his own stance before jumping at the inu hanyou. The two broke out in to a fight, weapon tossed aside as a cloud of dust kicked up around them.

Hiei crossed his arms over his chest and smirked at the scene. He didn't turn as he felt a presence come up beside him.

"Huh? What's going on, Uncle Hiei?" a small voice asked. Hiei glanced down to see the little red-headed girl standing there. She was watching curiously toward the cloud a dust that was yelling different obscenities, which would have probably caused Kagome (good thing for those two she was busy indoors) to get in there on the action and beat them both senseless for saying such lewd words in front of Mika while Kurama would try to pull her off of them.

"The fools are fighting over who your favourite uncle is again," Hiei told her.

"Oh!" Mika said, jumping up excitedly and clapped her hands together, "You mean Uncle Yusuke and Uncle Inuyasha?"

Hiei only nodded.

Mika watched for a moment before startling Hiei as she latched onto his arm, smiling up to him, "but don't they know that my favourite is Uncle Hiei?"

Hiei's crimson eyes gleamed as his smirk grew evil before he yelled out, "Hey morons! Don't you know, I'm her favourite uncle?!"

After a split second, the dust cleared and Inuyasha and Yusuke could be seen in the most awkward of positions. Eyes wide and in mid stance as Inuyasha held his hands around Yusuke's throat and Yusuke clutched Inuyasha's shirt with one hand and with the other ready to knock him out.

Hiei's smirk never faded as he and Mika walked off to find her parents. The last thought left on his mind as he looked back to the scene only to find that they were both still stunned was 'pwned', he laughed quietly to himself as Mika pulled him along.
